When Nursing Feels Overwhelming (10 views)
19 Apr 2026 13:04
I was talking to a friend the other day, and they said something that stuck with me. They were so stressed about exams that the thought “take my nursing exam for me” actually crossed their mind. Not because they’re lazy, but because the pressure can feel unreal sometimes. Nursing isn’t just about memorizing stuff. It’s long hours, constant practice, and trying to stay calm while learning things that really matter. One bad week can throw everything off. Sleep gets messed up. Confidence drops. We ended up talking about how common that feeling is, even if no one admits it out loud. When things pile up, your brain just looks for an escape. But what helped was stepping back a bit. Breaking things into smaller parts. Asking for help from classmates. Even just talking about it made it feel less heavy. It doesn’t fix everything, but it reminds you that you’re not alone in it.
